It goes without saying that public libraries are becoming less popular these days (Вступительная фраза необходима для описания проблемы). There are people who treat public reading rooms as a thing of the past. However, others argue stating that public libraries will survive even in the distant future (Представлены 2 противоположные позиции).
Personally, I strongly believe that public libraries will exist. Firstly (вводное слово – необходимы для логической связи мыслей текста), all new books cost much (В opinion essay необходимо четко высказать свою позицию). No one can afford to buy more than a few ones every month. So, public libraries save money for you. Second (вводное слово), libraries are no longer reading rooms. They are transformed into culture centres and provide a lot of educational activities. For example, you can join some language club and practise English there. Nevertheless (вводное слово), some people think that public libraries might be closed soon (представлена альтернативная точка зрения). It is true that the modern lifestyle has limited free time for leisure. In addition (вводное слово), up-to-date technologies including the WI-FI Internet and smartphones are always in your pocket. You can surf the net and find some book without wasting time on transportation to libraries.
Anyway (вводное слово), I stand for keeping and opening public libraries. Nowadays we all spend hours in front of computer screens. Having a library close to your home or work help you interact with people offline. For sure, you can find rare books there which haven’t got electronic versions (Представлено несогласие с альтернативной точкой зрения, также дан 1 аргумент).
To conclude, these days public libraries are completely different from old dusty rooms with hundreds of shelves. They are attractive and welcoming if you want to study, relax or just meet people (сделан вывод).
